Christmas - The Gospel

Merry everywhere, it's Christmas everywhere.

Merry Christmas to all my readers. May the light of the world reside in your heart and give you peace.

Christmas is the most beautiful season of the year. We celebrate the Christmas tree, Santa Claus, cakes, decorations, stars and light but we forget to celebrate the real reason for Christmas. Yes, the only reason for Christmas to be celebrated is Jesus and only Jesus.

The light of the world, the God, the creator, created the world with his words. Until the man sinned, everything was perfect. And the humans continued to sin, going farther and farther from God. The darkness started ruling the hearts of people, filling their life with sorrow, grief, sin, conflict, unrest, death. The world needed a Savior. The Savior to rescue their soul from entering the gates of hell, grief and all the miseries of the world.

A day came where the first Christmas was celebrated. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6)

Jesus was born. Jesus wasn't born to establish a religion. He was born to the world, he was born for the lost, he was born for humankind.

Though he was God, he came to this world as a human and lived here for 33 and half years. Jesus shed his blood on the cross to rescue you and me from sin and death.

The melody of Christmas is that Jesus, the messiah, is born.  He was born to put an end to sin and rescue your soul from the gates of death. He gave us the message that all those who are weary and tired come to him and he would give you rest.

Jesus was born to give you hope and a future. His words still speak. His blood still wash away our sins, he is the savior who loves us like no other and fills our heart with his hope. He has come to save the lost. He has come for you. If you feel your life is burdened, come to him, he will carry your burden on him and give you rest. Your life will never be wasted in his hands.

Joy to the world, the world received its savior. This Christmas, let's celebrate Jesus, who is the only reason for the season. I pray that this Christmas, you receive the one who is the reason for the celebration. Glory to God in the highest, peace on earth.
